    My Review: It’s easy to forget how the regency romance label has evolved over the years to dime a dozen erotic romance novels. I’ve been wary of the regency and historical romance genres as of late due to many of the stories just feeling so out of place for their respective time periods. I had no such issues with this book and it was actually pretty refreshing. The Female Correspondent is a squeaky clean romance novel about a young woman, Beatrice Debord, who is more interested in botany than she is in marriage.
