    My Thoughts Sigh. It’s hard for me to decide how to start this review because I found myself confused and disappointed when I finished. I think I suffered a little bit from overhype about this book since it was recommended so highly and talked about like mad.     My Review: I picked up American Panda because I had heard a lot of positive feedback from Asian American book bloggers about how relatable it was and how stinking cute the cover was. Even though the synopsis sums up the book pretty well, I was still pleasantly surprised by what I got reading the book.     My Thoughts It’s strange how excited I was to find that there is a sequel short story for a book that I ended up being disappointed by. I read When Dimple Met Rishi two years ago and wanted so badly to love it, I really did. I fell head over heels for the titular characters in the first half of the novel, especially Rishi who I found dreamy and total date material.
