    Chameleon Aura

    My Review: If you’re in need of a pick-me-up, Chameleon Aura is the book for you. This book is filled to the brim with poetry and prose offering advice on relationships and self-love. It’s a mix of personal experiences and advice for others on learning to love and accept yourself and moving away from toxic people. If you’re looking for more depth though, I’m beginning to think that the instapoet trend is not the place to find it.     The Hate U Give

    My Thoughts WOW. I’ve seen so much talk about this book and I was fearful that it wouldn’t live up to the hype but how wrong I was to worry. The Hate U Give is absolutely astounding and is one of the best debut novels I’ve read in a long time.     Beasts Made of Night

    My Review: I feel like such an asshole for not liking this book. The premise for this novel is so good and I was excited to pick it up. The book follows Taj, a sin eater, ancient practitioners that devour the sin of another, taking on the burden of their guilt. This practice has been documented at several points in history and although its origins are unclear it is considered to be a form of magic.
